I would also test the driver door key lock on the outside, if that's not working then check all door locks for typical microswitch/circuit board failure?

Drivers side lock/unlock switch.

ok i have a mk4 golf 2000 model and when i lock my doors, they lock fine but when i unlock em', i have to hit the door so it opens pls help

I had the same problem with my 2000 VW Bora. You will have to take out the electric window switch from the door and then check if the connection between the central lock button and the circuit board is loose or worn out.
You can use spare copper wire and apply it loosely between the bottom of the central lock button and where it touches on the circuit board.
That's how I fixed the problem on my car.
