The I.V. League - "Let You Know"
Album - "The I.V. League Project" (Out of Print, Not available digitally)
Official Music Video.
The first and only I.V. League Music Video takes us on a journey through Los Angeles as seen by Ivan Ives and The League. From the gritty streets of Downtown to the studio where they used to record, The League leaves their stamp on the city.
The video however only features 3 of the 20+ artists in the crew (Ivan Ives, Marc Spector, and Re:Pete). A second video for the more suitable video track, "The Anthem," was in production when conflict within the group began to boil. Unfortunately, the video was never finished and thus never released. Although many members in The League showed promise, the clan altogether was too large to be successfully managed and thus slowly fell apart.
Ivan reports that he keeps a good report with most of the crew on his "Newspeak" album, but discusses the break-up of the Los Angeles group: "Fans didn't want the league, they just wanted me. Took a step back it wasn't hard to see... I tried to help them out and most are still fam but some people are just lazy and will never understand" on Kill 'Em (featuring Percee P).
Nevertheless, enjoy this time capsule for what it is and know that there ARE members of this group that are very talented and working hard to make a name for themselves independently of The League.
