MUSE SECRET REHEARSAL AT MILTON KEYNES BOWL

Muse had hired out the National Bowl for 5 days to set up and rehearse / soundcheck their entire show in preparation for their live tour. The venue was sealed off to the public so no one was able to see anything but the sound boomed through the neighbouring estates like Furzton. I recorded around 8 songs from my house for audio purposes only so please ignore the poor video quality

@jaz4068 I've got some friends from Rugby and West Haddon. It was awesome to hear them rehearse. It was so random, I was watching tv with the window open and suddenly heard a muse song coming from outside. It took me about an hour to finally click that it was actually the band playing over the road from me. They were rehearsing all weekend from 1 in the afternoon until about 10pm both days. It was much louder in person and they had the light displays going at night which was epic

Yeah we tried to get into the bowl but all the gates were locked with security guards on each one.

Yeah they finally graduated and had pictures taken of them in their robes on the Plymouth Hoe. No all i know is that Jill Bird taught them. I don't know if they were taught by anyone else but the band have alot of time for Jill as they hold her hugely responsible for where they are today. Matt would of had help from his family as Matt's dad was the bassist of The Tornadoes which were the first UK band to ever get a number 1 in America. I don't think Chris and Dom have musical backgrounds

@MrGeewiz1 but i don't think they completed their a levels as matt said in an interview that they tried but then became more focused towards music.Any idea how they learnt their instruments like their all self taught or through a teacher?

@hamzabinamin123 No this was when they were at secondary school, i don't know if they went to sixth form but they did go to uni. Matt and Dom did anyway as they left school a year before Chris, i'm not sure what Uni they went to but i think it was Exeter where Matt had a flat above a pornshop and one of the porno's inside was called Rocket Baby Dolls which is how they got one of their previous band names. Assume she was their teacher for general classes but also a private teacher. It's fine lol

@MrGeewiz1 so this was after they left their a levels? and what did she really teach them? music theory and stuff? and how did they learn their instruments though her our like they're all self taught? i'm sorry if i'm annoying you by asking so many questions but i always wanted to know about their past and how they were before getting famous there aren't any interviews about that much..

@hamzabinamin123 Nah she taught all of them. They all went to the same school and Chris was 1yr below Matt and Dom. I'm not sure if she taught all of them from scratch(i think she did though) but i do know she taught all 3 of them as a band. She used to have to make up exscuses to get them out of her music room in order for her to be able to go home at the end of the day as they would never stop practising lol.
