And as a Christian, isn't the goal to be Christ-like and to live your life as Christ would? They are simply saying that it's ok to have the nice things in life and still be saved. The aim is to not glorify those things in which God blesses us with. As long as we keep Him first, ain't nothing wrong with having nice things.
