Most of the Bunraku videos on YouTube were filmed at a tourist attraction in Kyoto that provides a sample of traditional dance, tea ceremony, Kyogen comedy, court music, and flower arranging, in addition to traditional puppet theater--all in about an hour. Unlike a performance at a regular theater (like the National Theater) where you are not allowed to use a camera, the Gion Corner in Kyoto permits photography of the show, which includes this 10-minute piece, usually known as "Yaoya Oshichi."
