Lightning is one of the most fascinating powers of nature. This year the USA counted 272 victims of lightning. Daryn Kahn made a documentary about this phenomenon in the lightning capital of the world, Florida USA. But what started as a documentary about lightning ended up with an extremely dangerous experiment.

  • Near the end of the video the dude says there are no lasting affects, hopefully there are, such as sterilization so he doesn't pass those stupid genetic traits on! That gene pool needs some chlorine!

  • That guy looks like Steve Jobs

  • hahaha alcohol is the perfect sponsor for this. probably where the idea started too

  • Nicely Done! It is obvious that this is not a video based on fact, but it should be appreciated for its production value.

  • This has to be on Discovery Channel! Loved it.

  • A very amusing documentary. And I really believed the ending. But when I'm reading all the comments I'm strating to doubt. But still a very amusing documentary.

  • Brilliant film. For it doesn't matter of it's fake or not. It's very amusing to watch.

  • Yup, hoax...

    1) Odds of strike on the first try, small. And who throws away plate armor gauntlets?

    2) Who takes pictures of injuries with black and white film?

    3) Faraday cage was a joke. It didn't even connect the helmet to the lower portions, thus no path but thru him. Any park touching him would caused scar inducing burns due to the heating of the material.

    4) Coating the antlers means either mercury (toxic) or a metal with melting temp high enough to set fire to the antlers.

  • @mallix2000 and it was faaaaake.

  • What a dumbass!

  • like if you skipped around the boring video looking for lightning strike
