g15 LED Flashing with Vista

just to let you know this is totally possible but not with Ray's mod u need a new one called wvs.

you can download it here:

you will need 2 files from there:
wvs_03014-winamp-setup.exe
wvs-bin-0.30.14.rar

Run the setup.exe and then extract the rar file and copy all the files from inside there to the wvs folder inside the plugins folder for winamp.

Then all u need to do is go into winamp and do preferences set it to execute visuals on startup and also set the visualization to vis.amp.dll

all done restart winamp and enjoy.

p.s. if you want the led flashing to happen instantly then you need to edit the cfg file called profile in the wvs folder. edit the line LED Beat to say ENABLED

yep should do. But rays mod might be easier. Its just rays mod doesn't work in vista :(

i have one error the plugin works but one of the dll´s dont work i mean when i enter in winamp the program thold me that he cant load some of the dlls

have u made sure all the dlls are in the correct place? also maby you could try moving them to the windows directory??

Just a word of advice, this plugin can be a bitch to uninstall, so be aware that this plugin I found does not work well with Trance/Other kinds of electronic music, just my personal opinion, but I really did find it to just be more of a non-consistent strobe rather than a strobe to the beat.

Please,can you tell me how and where i have to extract and copy the wvs-bin-0.30.14.rar files? Thanks for the help, i think i've extracted the rar. in the wrong way,'cause certain things, like the flashing lights doesn't work...I have Windows Vista Business with Service Pack 1.
