Page to Stage Durham presents a play for the United Way - Norm Foster's, the Melville Boys!
Two brothers. Two sisters. One cabin. One weekend.
When Owen Melville talks his older brother Lee into heading up to the family cabin for the weekend, each has a different idea in mind of how they plan to relax. Lee wants to talk to his brother about something important, but before he can get a handle on him, Owen's antics have attracted the attentions of Mary and her sister Loretta.
Suddenly Lee finds himself trying to play both polite host, and Big Brother so as to keep Owen, who is due to be married in less than a month, from making a serious mistake.
Its a story about the special bonds between brothers, sisters, the amazing impact that a total stranger can have upon your life, and the importance of valuing those around us in the time we have. A play that will make you laugh, and touch your heart. Make a night of it.
