This required national test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) was sent at about 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 on the Comcast system serving Dartmouth, MA (New Bedford headend).
@elevatorsonly Yep, they made the test for Washington, DC even though it was broadcast throughout the entire country. I guess because FEMA and the FCC are there.
it was able to be understood. That would be important for a real alert.
