Algebra for Dummies

I'm going to try to test out of Algebra and it's been 30 years since I've done it. I got a D in it and A's in everything else to I have a grudge against Algebra. I plan on testing this week and hopefully I will pass and not have to waste any tuition money on it.

I completed one year. I'm just getting the core classes out of the way. I work full time, have a part-time job and will be going to school 3/4. I will be busy but I need to take care of myself and get something set aside for retirement.

I had a very tough time with algebra too. It and French were the two things that kept me from being in the top 10% of my class.

she must be hot when she was young,i was remember asking a hot girl out when i was high school and she reject me and call me a loser.now she is old and not as hot as she was in high school,she never go too collage and stuck with a job that she hate while i am getting older and have more money now a date a girl 7 years younger than me and way hotter than she is ...LOL

Lola. Go through Khan Academy stuff. It's very worthwhile.

Speaking as a math teacher myself. most "Algebra" is unnecessary. The important things are the you learn to think in a mathematical way, put together thoughts in a rational order, realize the scale and exactness of numbers, and learn to analyze problems that have a mathematical solution.

I suck at Algebra, but its not a big deal because nobody really needs to use Algebra in real life , unless you planned to become a math teacher or scientist i guess.

Oh ! I love Algebra ! I was such an Algebra nerd in high school. I homeschool my kids & I've been trying to teach it to my 14 yr old. He hates it !
