I don't know why they aimed this for children... the book isn't very kid appropriate...

@supernova2411 Read the book. It's very vague and not at all graphic, but it definitely exists.

@Rainstarhasastick what mating scene!!!

Yeah. Bonechewer was my FAVOURITE character, seriously. And I know they had to tone it down for length and for children and whatever, but really? REALLY? It loses some of the story about Ratha herself, the struggles, everything she goes through just to bring justice to her people and identifying more about the Nameless and so forth. It's just not right. =/ And what about Thistle-chaser? Seriously! Even if they didn't plan on making more videos, they still could have .. I donno.. done something.

totally agree. They cut out Ratha and Bonechewer at the gathering. Ratha's cubs. ooooooh it makes me mad.

=( Bonechewer was my favourite character. They butchered the story, in my opinion, trying to make it a condensed little cartoony thinger. I think it would be great if they made this a CGI movie, and made it what it really was in the books. The books were FANTASTIC! ... I was really hoping Bonechewer would be in this, though... and that they would get a little deeper than they did. This animation is rather hyperactive... and failed at really drawing me in at all. Books > Animated Thing.

The animated adaptation's still very good, especially as a children's version of the book. It was good enough to get me and, I'm sure many other kids, interested in reading the book, where we got the real story, lol.

I agree!

No, because Bonechewer was her mate, plus this was a cartoon amied at kids. I love the book, and I'm so trilled to hear that it's back on bookshevles! :D
