Gus was rescued from a murderer's house during a poilce raid on the suspect. He was probably headed for the illegal pet trade for a life in confinement and misery. Our resident experts from the Great Orangutan Project took Gus into their care and are rehabilitating him for the wild. Volunteers to the project now get to follow his progress.

  • Yes, the centre is called Matang Wildlife Centre in Sarawak, Malaysia. This baby is called Ting Sang and is currently out in the jungle being rehabilitated. A happy ending for this baby....thanks to all the hard work of the staff and paying volunteers
