Thanks for a very useful review. Why is it so hard for the manufacturers to just get it right? All the elements seem to be out there in one camera or another, but never all together in one piece of kit. Consistently quick and accurate focus + user focus point selection / big zoom / Optical IS/ RAW / 720p movie / Mic socket / 16-bit 44kHz stereo/ remote control for shake free tripod mounted start, stop, zoom and focus operation in movie mode ....Regards, Langdon

@bwelmhouse1 Cool thanks so much!

@ashinthemist Well, when the camera is refusing to focus on what I want in a cluttered shot with lots of surfaces at varying distances, I find an object nearby at the same distance from the camera so I can fix the focus on that, and then shift the camera over to the subject and take the shot. The camera gets confused with small objects when there are things like branches in front of it, or around it because it doesn't know what to focus on. I could just use the manual focus.....

Yeah, I like mine too. The only thing I really dont like is the rough contrast when fully zoomed.
Dont use your greenscreen....... ever......

@AcquiredCardSkills Well, that was when I was very new at this. The lighting was all wrong and I was too close to the screen, as I was working in a very confined space. I've got green screen usage perfected now.

I would like to get this camera (Im not a processional) but what did you mean when you said at 1:51 ... could you explain? Thanks

@ashinthemist .....but with birds not staying still long enough, and with the awkward focus wheel, it doesn't seem to be practical to use the manual focus in bird photography.
