Just recently became a fan of the devil wears prada a couple months ago. Amazing music they have. Definitely an awesome christian rock band with a good message. This song is one of my favorites. I just love the riffs in this song. I learned it in about an hour or less. Fairly easy song but fun to play. I wasnt really gonna do a cover, i dont really bother doing covers on songs that already have many covers and instead do my own private covers, but many of the covers for this song, they just dont have the sound right, despite them knowing how to play the song very well. So i decided to cover it with settings sounding the closest i can to the actual song. I think it came out well, only problem is that i had to put the song and my amp low cuz the neighbors are sleeping. Its pretty late when i made this cover. So u can hear my guitar when im playing chords or doing a lot of palm muting lol. Anyways, enjoy and God bless

  • no offense but you are only the 2nd a African American person that i have seen to like screamo :D

  • @MozillaFirefoxFTW I don't mean to destroy all ur hopes and dreams, but im not african american lol. I'm Puerto Rican

  • some advice, 1) dont use a spider, or any line6 for that matter. i have one too, but the tones all sound super fake. 2) record into the computer instead of with the camera, so then you dont get all that sound from you picking. or have the amp closer to the camera than you are to the camera. but overall, good cover

  • @wizardy16120 Yea, actually check out some of my more recent covers. I have a Miss May I cover, and August Burns Red cover. Since those covers and every other after, I've been putting my guitar slightly lower(but loud enough so it's the only sound u can hear with no picking), and using a camera to record audio and video. And then, with windows movie maker, i place the song in to fit my playing. My more recent covers sound a lot better. Still not as good as i'd like, but better.

  • what distorter are you using?

  • @rockurheart1 I'm using what's built in the amp. Its a spider 3 amp so it has a lot of presets.
