Make sure you do your research about all the methods available for Weight Loss Surgery. Dr. Rutledge is obviously not fond of Lapband and promotes RNY and the Mini Bypass, which are both great, but if you are thinking about lapband, don't let Dr. Rutledges opinion sway yours. Do your research and talk to your physician!

Even with the soothing elevator music it looked pretty feaky.
For the full effect I muted the sound to this and played the Beetlejuice theme in another youtube window.
Yup...far more along how I was feeling.

Surg Endosc. 2007 Aug;21 1388 Lap revision from LapBand to gastric bypass. Houston, TX LapBand experience complications or fail to lose sufficient weight after the banding procedure. Study outcome of gastric bypass (GBP) revision surgery after a FAILED LapBand. Revision 28 months after banding. BMI before the LapBand 45 the BMI at revision was 43!!! Conversion from LapBand to GBP is needed for FAILED LapBand. Revision surgery is technically challenging

what happens with the by-passed tissues? is there a risk of necrosis etc.? How well does a reversing do?

I wish it was narrated. There is so much fat I have no idea what I'm looking at other than the suturing at the end. Would like to see a more explanative video.
