Blackwell will be remembered by me for wasting money on old players and letting good young talent leave for pennies. His reign at Leeds was in large a failure, although i do believe had he stayed with us we would have stayed up in the CC - just! However, his policy was never going to work long-term. I wish him well but he does not appear to have learned his lesson - Furling and Hutchison etc for Luton. Has-beens!!

The man came to Leeds, there was no money and only 2 players had signed and in two seasons he made us into a squad that could have been competable in the premier league but unfortunatly it wasnt to be (Im sure thats what " Job Done" Davies says in the video lol) things didnt work out but we had no money (what could the man do, really) and we came close, so close, but to call the man a waste of time is the view of ignorance... Well done Blackwell. Legend.

Would not say he deserves to be called a legend.

But a very good manager of making a silk purse out of a sow`s ear.

His only downfall is he loses the plot on the big occasions,i.e.play off finals.

Still wish him the best of luck.

But as an avid Leeds fan I don`t think we could have got any lower in the league positions.

Finally I think that Simon Grayson is going to put Leeds back where they belong if Bates lets him.

i agree with this video.Blackwell WAS a good manager for Leeds.The club was in financial freefall at the time he took over and even tho he had a lot of 30 something journeymen he had a pretty good side put together on a shoestring.Watford was heartbreaking tho and i think he and that team never got over it.Good luck to him.
