KIEV, Ukraine, 16 December 2009 For the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, UNICEF along with a leading Ukrainian television channel (M1 TV) and other pop celebrities debuted a song about childrens rights titled The Fire of the Hearts.

Pop singer Andrey Kishe wrote the song and performed it together with the duo Alibi. They shot a music video as well and plan to perform the song in future concerts.

It is very important to not forget that we all were children and remember how much they need our care and support, said Kishe. Being a father, I call all Ukrainian parents to learn more about childrens rights and ensure their protection."

We want to greet all children and young people on their holiday, said Alina and Anna Zavalskaya of Alibi. And remind them that every child has rights; every child is unique and needs our attention. We call on all Ukrainians to unite their efforts and make our country a better place for children.
