The basic strumming pattern is DD UU DU. The tuning is standard with capo on 1. The beginning part is usually the G chord picking the bottom 3 strings upwards starting with the E twice, and then once again picking up ending on the D or G string and ending it with a strum down.

The BASIC chord progression is (not in this vid):

Am D x4 (ending at 'maybe cause im trying')

Em Am x2 (ending at 'i just cant turn and walk away')

G C Am D x4 (end at ' its all for you....')
