  • You are causing someone pain in order to force them into complying with your orders. That's pretty much the definition of torture.

  • That soldier looked like the real deal in the beginning. I was intimidated just by watching him. He's probably taken a few lives lol.

  • so this is just like soft drowning

  • "You're gonna want to breathe....but you won't be able to."

    Still not torture somehow. Oh...ok.

  • @rik78

    Tell him about the NDAA!

Where U.S citizens can be labeled a terrorist for having a 7 day supply worth of food.

And can arrest you with out trial!

Arrest you in public or in private.

Assassinate you in public or private.

Either way.once you labled as a terrorist by OUR government.I guess its ok...right......what ignorant bastards.

  • @rik78 Depends on the numbers some report over 500, either way I am willing to bet none of them were waterboarded. That is usually used on people high up in taliban that have confirmed terrorist ties.

  • @MPG350 Three have been convicted of terrorism.

600 of the 779 have been released without ever even being charged with anything.

171 remain (including children, which is against international law).

Source: Wikipedia page on "Guantanamo Bay detention camp"

Now why would the USA release 600 terrorists? Could it be that there was no evidence they were terrorists perhaps? Seems a strange thing to do otherwise.

  • @rik78 Many have been convicted of terrorism

  • @MPG350 Again, we don't know they're terrorists though. They've not been found guilty of anything.

If they had been found guilty of killing innocents I (and many others) would sympathise with you.

  • @rik78 sorry i commented but didn't send it to you. ha

  • OK thats fair, but you forgetting one important thing. If the military waterboards its for intel to help prevent more lost innocent lives, if the taliban tortures its because they want more intel to kill more innocent lives. Sorry but I wont stick up for the rights of terrorist.

  • @MPG350 But that's just it, you don't KNOW they're terrorists do you.

What if you were to find out the Taliban were torturing American civilians they were convinced were military. Fair enough?
