Yes you are a drag queen. Its all refered to as female impersonators. Get it right sweet heart. I know a lot of queens that will drop their normal look to look exactly like a character, and "female impersonators" that have their signature style. So yeah. Learn sweety :)

I had been told by a friend in San Francisco's gay court, a drag queen does not try to pass, it is more about looking good and performing. Drag queens also are a fixure in most gay communities and will stand out purposely. I knew some drag queens who dressed only if they would be performing. Drag queens such as Cocketelia in San Francisco often go for exaggerated looks. The female impersonators try to pass. Cross dressers are often straights. Transgenders have surgeries and use hormones.

My opinion on the subject is that, I personally do think of myself as a drag queen. The way I see it, drag-queens are more performers. We do drag more because that is our creation, this kind of goes along with what your saying, we have our character, this character is what we put everything we feel inside our soul our feelings our heart into this character, our looks are diversital but we do usually stay to a look to a certain extent. We perform on stage and really push the theatrics of it all.

I'm sorry, but I am so insulted by your definition of Trans sexual, trans gender, etc..... if you don't know what you are talking about, don't talk about it, it is people with misconceptions like you who make it difficult for the trans community to educate not only the wider community but also the gay community.........
