Mic, U must save this BEAUTIFUL poem U wrote here. I read it with my mouth hanging open. It speaks directly 2 the soul & soul knowing. It 's a singularly poignant & intimate piece of writing.
It's an honor to be "seen" by U Mic, because there was so much of my soul in this piece. My immediate thought upon reading UR kind comment was that we see in others what we are in ourselves.

Dear Bothropasper, Thank you for your kindness. Also it is rewarding to know that you have something alive and open in you that CAN appreciate emotion, natural beauty and, as you say, inner peace. ---And yes, this was the Rio Grande Gorge of New Mexico on a rainy day. I think it was more magnificent than if I'd been there on a sunny day. Very primal and prehistoric, as if I were witnessing the dawn of time....
