Junk Drumming #2

Moved the camera a little closer for this one so it does sound clearer. Audio mixing/editing was done to improve the quality but not nearly as much as #1!

This was after I had finished my time tutoring the college/region Junk Band at work. I started playing on the drum with my hands last week and was so gutted I didn't have my camera so I brought it with me this time and am well pleased with the results!

This is an improv, nothing was pre-meditated/planned I just played whatever came to mind for however long.

The "instrument" im playing on is a storage barrel that originally came from a chewing gum factory. The barrel stored chewing gum flavouring (my hands smell minty after playing it!) and it sounds great!

I have to give huge thanks to Big Beat Junk Percussion Group for A) inviting me join such a fantastic and nationally-succesful group and B) for bringing us this incredible, if not VERY loud, source of expression!
