  • Ce film est une pure merveille

  • yeah, a translation would be nice. I would really love to know what is being said. My french has, unfortunately dissolved lol !!! Anybody ? Somebody ?

  • I can translate this easily. I'm bilingual French/English even more.

  • @TheGoddessNetworks I can try if you still want.

  • @TheGoddessNetworks Je peux essayer si ça intéresse toujours !

  • @TheGoddessNetworks Do you still want a traduction ?

  • The african continent (especially south africa) has reclaimed the Venus as the symbol of her suffering. There is today among us a guilty feeling, we feel like we have to give her, her humanity back. Through the movie we see how she gradually loses her hope of becoming an actress. The movie shows the same dream people have today, when they dream of an eldorado abroad. Yahima says she leaned a lot through this process. thats about it..lool

  • @TheGoddessNetworks lool im 4 months late but, she says it was an honor for her to play the role of this woman who had a lot to offer. Who wanted to show what she could do, positive things, sing dance etc. The actress (Yahima) says the movie shows how far humans can go in humiliating other humans, it shows the racism of an era. Yahima, believes that finally thanx to Mandela the Venus can rest in peace on her land after all she's been through.

  • @TheGoddessNetworks She says that she's very shocked by her own movie, because that was difficult for her to represent what she represents in the movie : being a symbol is hard for her. Then she talks about Saartje Baartmann, she says that she has pitty for her. She thinks that today, France got to recognize this period of its history ! The director made a good movie for her.

The seconf part of the interview is much more interasting :

She says that Saartje is a dreamer.

  • Hello, I can translate you this interview but it requires more than 450 on youtube it's impossible an e mail would be easier for me. bye.
