Asskiss4ye. I know its difficult for low I.Q. people who most likely are unwilling to do a little research to back their claims. BUT, untill you either buy or find a copy of the original MC5 Album or CD and READ it your opinion is based on hotair not facts. But then you also most likely believe BushBimbas ignoRants too. PROVE ME WRONG! You can,t so you,ll just blow stupidity out you piehole like all dumbass fans of later bands ATTEMPTING to claim themselves as the first H.M. band.

No boys and girls. MC5 WAS the original " HEAVY METAL " band. Read the liner notes from the album or cd. Iggy was the first true " Punk Rocker " . There 2 completely different genres. MC 5 could,nt get airplay in 67 as their music was to " Heavy " for radio in those days. They had to edit it so much that nobody who knew their music would listen to the radio versions. I was there and I do remember, drugs and all !

This ain't heavy metal pinwizz69......... just cause radio wouldn't play it doesn't make it heavy metal... there was no such thing as music called heavy metal in 67. I wouldn't have even bothered if you didn't start with the condescending "boys and girls" shit... now take your drugs and f/o...

MC5 is the bridge that connects the 60's psychedelic rock to the 70's punk rock. Watch & listen...you'll see I'm right. They were political, raw, talented, loud musicians on a lot of drugs.
