Top 10 Batman Movies

These are in my opinion are the top 10 best batman movies.

#10 BATMAN The Movie
-i chose this movie to be on the list because it was really the first batman movie. some people hate it now, but i think it has some great campy entertainment value.

#9 BATMAN Forever
Some people may be surprised to see this on here. I had many good memories with this film as a child, and i hold many nostalgic memories about this movie. So i had to put it on the list.

#8 BATMAN & Mr Freeze SUB ZERO
-This is one of the best animated batman movies with the best Mr Freeze to date. It completely got his character right, and the movie has great story and action sequences.

#7 Batman Returns
I like batman returns for the mostpart. It had good preformances all around, and Danny DeVito is a fantastic penguin.

#6 BATMAN Gotham Knight
I think this movie is very under appreciated. It really shows how dark Batman can be. All of the chapters in the movie are fantastic aside from the terrible anime chapter.

#5 BATMAN (1989)
-This was the movie that showed audiences for the first time that Batman can be portrayed as a dark character on screen. Keaton and Nicholson were great casting choices.

#4 Batman Beyond Return of the Joker
-some may be surprised to see this higher on the list as Batman 89. This movie has a really great story, and emotional depth that many other live action Batman movies dont have.

#3 Batman Begins
This new vision of Batman was everything fans could have hoped for. It takes a serious realistic approach to the costumed vigilante, and describes his backstory and who he came to be perfectly.

#2 BATMAN Mask of the Phantasm
-This is the best animated Batman movie by a long shot. It is definatley one of the best animated movies of all time.

#1 The Dark Knight
This movie got absolutley everything right. I had anticipated this movie ever since the ending for Batman Begins. It meets every high expectation and surpasses them. Ledger's portrayl of the joker will be remembered as one of the best villans of this decade.

I don't understand why Sub-Zero is so overlooked. It's a really under-rated film that to me was almost as captivating as Mask of Phantasm. Great list minus no Under the Red Hood but this was made before so np.
