Start your engines on Saturday, September 17th for Heritage Hill's "History of the Automobile" event. Visitors will be transported through time as they visit with owners and view 30+ automobiles dating from 1908 to current years, experiencing the impact of the automobile on the lives of people and society.
Enjoy a variety of activities for all interests and ages. Meet Jim Draeger, author of the book Fill'er Up, as he talks about the glory days of Wisconsin gas stations. Join Jim for an autograph and book signing session. Check out the vintage Schneider National truck and learn how Schneider has impacted the trucking industry and our lives transporting goods for 76 years. Enter the raffle to win a four hour simulator experience at Schneider National's headquarters to feel what it is like to drive a big rig.
Children will enjoy learning about Wisconsin's historic first steam buggy race in 1848 on a park-wide scavenger hunt, feel the rush of racing slot cars, or purchase or race their own Hot Wheels cars on the Hill's multi-car track for a prize.

History of the Automobile takes place on Saturday, September 17 from 10am-4:30pm.
Admissions are $9.00 for adults, $8.00 for seniors (over 62) and $7.00 for children age 5-17 and children 4 and under are free.
