A short answer to a not-so-easy question. A humble tribute to a great man.

  • you cant be a saint if your a sinner..

  • @rashadkijani Yes i do have reading comprehension thanks. Define your standard for thinking "critically". If it means embrace conjecture instead of fact then i guess i dont.

  • @Xantheus07 Obviously you have a reading comprehension. The point I made was clear about dems who went to the repub party. Its also clear you dont think very critically.

  • @rashadkijani "It's people like you who say that the party switch is some liberal myth and it's not." It is a myth. Something Dems and their supporters say to try to cover their racist past. Tell me why would people who fought for equal rights once successful leave to join the party that opposed equal rights? If you cant figure why the losing side would switch parties just let me know.

  • @rashadkijani Obviously your comprehension is not that good. YOU said they changed sides so im ASKING you to name some Republicans who left to join the Democrats. Im not saying all dems are racist but back then their party made ALL the racist laws.

  • @Xantheus07 If you admit that Strom thurmand left the dem party to be a republican then why do you ask me to name people and call the switch sides BS? You arent making any sense.

  • @rashadkijani Blah blah blah blah blah the old "they switched sides" BS. Name some Republicans that left for the Democrats. The Dems who left their party to join Republican did so because THEY KNEW (just like Storm) that since they FOUGHT against Civil Rights they wouldn't get elected with a D by their name. IF the parties switched sides i guess Byrd and Gore Sr didnt get the memo.

  • @rashadkijani "And many republicans today look at blacks they same way Byrd did back then." I dont have a clue you tell me and give me your sources on that info. Like i said all you do is spout of a bunch of BS that you cant back up with fact. All you do is toss out the race card and think you won. History shows the Repbulicans fought for the rights of blacks while democrats fought to keep them enslaved. No conjecture there nothing but INDISPUTABLE FACT.

  • @Xantheus07 You do know that strom thurmaond died a proud republican and republicans defend him to the tee. He is the whole point some keep trying to make to people like you. The people who were racist in the dem party moved to the republican party. It's people like you who say that the party switch is some liberal myth and it's not.
