You can also get a glove with Spectra lining which is cut and stick resistant. Made by Hatch gloves.

listen to her i used a standly knife and ended up with 10 sitches in my finger and a nice groove in the bone so be careful

@wakawaka60 hi there please only use a stationary knife if your a beginner, and get a thumb guard and a carving glove,, a pocket knife can collapse on you,, thanks for watching my video, arleen
