Watch Professor Heinz Wolff (Young Scientist of the Year, The Great Egg Race and Experiments which changed the World) take you on an autobiographical journey through science.
From a very young age he loved experimenting and at the age of seven he soon realised that he wanted to be involved in science, to him, "playing and working are almost interchangeable". At 19, he got his first paper published in Nature. He went on to devise numerous 'tools' for a variety of scientific purposes.
Heinz is a great believer in "bringing science to the masses", which he achieved through his regular appearances on television and talks such as the one featured in this video.
Heinz's (now 81) presentation is both interesting and light-hearted; showing a humorous approach to science, as he says one of his hobbies is "dignified practical joking".
