  • Big accident @2:56, but all pianists make mistakes, but not all pianists can play beautiful Chopin like Yulianna!

  • very good playing but not a fan of the piano itself.

  • sucks

  • @ClassicalMusicPL I was just about to write the same, then I saw your comment, I really didn't like her interpretation, as you mentioned it's normal to make a few mistakes mainly in a hard piece as this Polonaise, the problem is that it was so dull, and in my opinion she misunderstood some phrases, besides she used pedal all different from the written sheet music, it helped to break some phrases.

  • Lot of mistakes there...

  • Am I the only one who feels like this piece have been totally sliced in her hands?

  • the winner of 2010 is so much more worse than the winner of 2005!!!!!!

There is nothing magical in it as she plays.

hopefully 2015 is going to be on a higher level!!!!!!

  • Very happy About her Gold medal . Shehas real grandeur without with undue narcissism obscuring Chopins art.

  • it's not like I don't like this way of playing the polonaise.....but at some points I felt the rubato is over exaggerated... and the melody slips a bit...Chopin himself didn't encourage his students to use rubato badly....but never the less I enjoyed her amazing control on the nuance between the left and right hand....artistic :)

  • I'm thankful the judges placed Yulianna correctly, and yet you are so correct about the great Japanese pianist Rina Sudo.
