@redfoxbennaton I got bored last year and I tried to figure out alone by trial and error. The cube took me a weekend but this was a 2 week project. You need some high school geometry and very little trigonometry. In my case I fond out that I get most of the learning benefit by not searching or reading anything. If you are in a rush look for 3D on wikipedia. They must give you the formulas. I can also send you some files.
