The Ultimate GH3 Customization Tutorial for PS2 (Part 3)

READ THIS DESCRIPTION FIRST!!!!! THIS IS IT!!! THE ULTIMATE PROGRAM FOR GH3 CUSTOMIZATION!!!!!!
You will need a modded ps2 or swap magic/mod chip/HDD to do this unless the final TOC (ISO SIZE) size is smaller than that of the original GH3 ps2 disc. Then you could the swap trick(confirmed to work with GH3). Oh yeah! A DVD BURNER and a blank SONY(recommended) DVD-R not RW. Here the download "link".

This guide tells you how to put custom songs into GH3 in less than 20 minutes.You will first need to download BuildGH3, which is the master program, to do this. It enables
. support for ogg, mp3 and FLAC
. support for sections names
. support for loading screen text replacement
. support for previews
. support for songlist editing
. support for cameras (see http://buildgh3.dnsalias.org/cameras.txt)
. support for lightning events (see http://buildgh3.dnsalias.org/lightning.txt)
. support for crowd events (see http://buildgh3.dnsalias.org/crowd.txt) Extract the files directly to drive c: in a folder you name GUI.

I do not currently understand how to do loading screen texts as of now, but if I find out how, I will surely tell.

(Editing Setlist and Artist Info)
Go into feedback. Load your chart. Go to chart settings and Change the songname and artist name which will appear in GH3. Don't forget to sync your chart with your music.

(Naming the files)
Name the files(MP3/OGG/FLAC and Chart) corresponding to what you are replacing.
m = main setlist song
b = bonus setlist song
I don't know what it is for bosses.
# = index of song(order original song is in setlist)
Each of your files should look something like this. b_01_watever.chart or .MP3/OGG/FLAC. Name your charts and music like that. Put all of them in the input folder under GUI.
(Codes for BuildGH3)
Open cmd with run.
Type cd\(I am assuming you put files directly in Drive C: under a folder named GUI).
Then type cd\GUI\
[Also, make sure you have GH3 original or burnt disc in dvd drive before doing next step]
Then type minibuildgh3 d:/ input/ output/ temp/
Wait for it to finish then exit.

(Adding the rest of GH3 files)
After that, go to Output folder under GUI and drag the rest of the Guitar Hero 3 files to that folder(IOP,MOVIES,STREAMS,SOUNDS,SLUS 21672, SYSTEM) Then you will need to add the rest of the music files. Go into the original MUSIC folder and restore down that window. Then open up newly made MUSIC folder in OUTPUT folder. Drag all of the original files that aren't in the new MUSIC into the new MUSIC folder.(That includes all of the folders and ISF and IMF files into there specified folder). This takes about 7 minutes to do or less depending on how many custom songs you made.

(CD/DVD Generator) -

Do this crap next. It's the same for all Guitar Hero games.

(Genie IML to ISO) -
Convert IML to ISO.

(DVD Decrypter) -
Open newly made ISO and change volume label to GH3C(that means both text boxes).

I did steps 1 and 2 after a lot of tries they worked in this one it looks like you are just burning your stuff that was made in step 1 and 2 so should I just burn the gui folder on to the gh3 disk with my disk burner Nero

one question. did the files that you transfered at 2:30 to 3:15 all songs ever? if not (which it most likely isn't) how do you get the songs that you want to be on your game?
