A demonstration of a remotely controlled drone at the 23rd Chaos Communication Congress in Berlin. The drone model is a microdrones MD4-200, the price is about 10,000 Euros.

These things can be programmed to fly on a certain route. You can also give them the location of a recharge base and they will return there when they're low on battery.

Even if they are Hobbyists it would still cost something to design and create.. they have to make money somehow..Why not 10.000..? Hmm Im from Denmark, what do I know..

I saw a very similar concept (4 rotors, video camera, simple controls) c.5 years ago at Comdex - it had been developed by a Far Eastern company - cannot recall nationality or co. name). I guess that's called competition, or does another word apply?

-_- are you dumb, if you do some research these machines are automatic and can fly around on their own to spy on people, and RC helicopter would require an operator to constantly control it, the guy takes his hand off n push the drone to demonstrate that it can control it self on its own
