August Wind: The season of dreams and cloudeels

BA Game Design at the Zürich University of the Arts 2009

A small Teaser of the final project for the university. Augugst Wind was very sucessfull at the final exams, earning the highest grade possible. This is a small video showing the state of the prototype and the world.

Augugst Wind is a story about a young badger, trying to get famous at Eelhaven VII. Eelhaven VII is one of the floating eelhavens where young pilots register for a competition of collecting the most metal off the back of majestzic cloudeel during the season of august.

The music is from the french band "Les gosses de la rue". If you like manouche, gipsy jazz or similar, be sure to check out their jamundo site, they are absolutely amazing

Like the look of the title and the zoom out at the end of the clip. General art style is nice, but portraits could use a workover... and the background could get boring after a while, add some weather or something maybe?
