R1OSD v2.0 Head Up Display for UAV

R1OSD is a small electronic device that plugs on a video camera and offers an augmented reality experience to the user through a display device (ie. video googles).

R1OSD provides realtime onscreen useful information that you may need when piloting a remote object through a video link like altitude, speed, heading and distance to home, onboard battery status, etc.

@BezanDarro would be an expensive hobby. Having shot another airplane you cannot just restart but would have to rebuild a new one.

Inventions like these only shows the endless possibilities that electronics and computer has brought into human life. Imagine future gaming that would be conducted in real world like this: playing real combat flights with cheap miniature airplanes!! Can we call it then "simulations"? I don't think so..not anymore.
