-Reimu she look so menacing... just like when Soma Cruz absorbed Dracula's powers in Aria... how old is she? She looks more intimidating than Remilia Scarlet...

-Reimu's clothes is reflects Juste and Leon Belmont, who wears Crimsom Red

-Monsters in this stage reminisces Garden stages in Castlevania

-The only thing that will make Reimu more intimidating is if she uses a Morning Star whip...

-The OST reflects the serious atmosphere

weapons

Whip - bit slower , more range

Knife- faster , less range

Abilities

Remilia- fly unlimited, throw cards but it cost points

Sayaka - Fly but cost magic but sky attack doesn't take away points can stop time.

I would say they are about the same but so far I found touhouvania 2 easier (PROHABLY BECUASE I HAD 20 LIVES) except the last boss.
