I first learned about Peg Leg Howell when I read the back of the album jacket for "The Blues Project" back in the '70's. The notes mentioned him. IIRC: "Nobody quite knows what "Peg Leg" will do when he's let loose with a guitar, but the results are bound to be good." Or something like that.

Do you have these to post, as Abshires has rockin bluesy fiddle.
Popcorn Blues by Nathan Abshire, & Midnight Blues by Cleveland Crochet, I think Jay Stutes on vocal, & Shorty Le Blanc on accordion, usually classed as Cajun or Zydeco, but these 2 are really blues, but both rock along real good.

i think its Eddie Anthony who was one of Peg Legs gang but there is no info on the album
