This song is sung in Breton which is a Celtic Language spoken in Brittany. Breton is a Brythonic language of great and ancient descent, originating from the Celtic British Language brought from Great Britain by migrating Britons during the Early Middle Ages. Brittany a province of France in modern times is located in the north-west of France occupying a large peninsula lying between the English Channel to the north and the Bay of Biscay to the south.
