IN THIS VIDEO WE WIND THE SECOND COIL. THE CAMERA RAN OUT EARLY, SO IN THE NEXT VIDEOWE WIND THE WHOLE THING WIH THE WRAP UP ON THE COIL WITH TAPE, AND SATURATING THE COIL WITH SUPER GLUE. ALSO WE SHOW THE FIRST COIL AFTER IT HARDENED. IT FITST THE SPACE ALLOTTED PERFECTLY. I SHOW THAT BY PLACING THE COIL ON THE DRAWING WHERE IT NEEDS TO GO. THIS IS THE BEST TEST.

  • get an alternator from the scrap yard! Will save you a lot of time, effort and expense.

  • @TheGodlessGuitarist YA THAT'S OK IF YOU CAN SPIN IT 700 + RPMS ALL THE TIME. AND DONY USE POWER FROM THE BATTERY TO POWER THE FIELD WINDINGS. THE REGULAR CAR ALTERNATOR IS THE MOST INEFFICIENT ONE THERE IS BECAUSE AUTO MANUFACTURERS THINK YOU DONT CARE ABOUT MAKING 5% ELECTRICITY WITH 1/3rd OF YOUR HORSEPOWER AVERAGE. A SOLAR PANEL ON THE ROOF OF YOUR CAR WILL GET YOU 35% MORE GAS MILAGE. IMAGINE THAT.

    THE AXIAL FLUX ALTERNATOR STARTS CHARGING AT 100 TO 120 RPMS EASILY WITH VERY LITTLE LOSSES.

  • @TheGodlessGuitarist IF YOU TAKE THE ARMATURE OUT AND LATHE A GAP FOR CURVED PERMANENT MAGNETS IN IT. AND EPOXY THEM IN, IT WILL PRODUCE NICELY. THE SAME WITH THE AUTO ALTERNATOR. BUT THE STEEL LAMINANTS IN THE STATER COILS WILL TAKE 35% OF YOUR EFFICIENCY AWAY THROUGH EDDY CURRENTS, LENS CURRENTS, AND START UP COGGING. BUT THEY WILL WORK MUCH BETTER THAN AN ALTERNATOR THAT USES THE BATTERY TO MAKE THE MAGNETISM TO MAKE MORE ELECTRICITY. REMEMBER CAR MAKERS ARE PART OF THE BIG OIL GAME.

    THEN MULTIPLY BY HOW MANY COILS YOU WILL HAVE IN THAT PHASE. THEN IF YOU WIRE IN STAR CONFIGURATION, JUST MULTIPLY THE TOTAL VOLTAGE OF ONE PHASE TIMES 2 AND THEN AGAIN BY .707 TO GET THE APROXIMATE VOLTAGE AT THE DESIRED RPM. IF YOU KNOW THE SIZE OF THE PROP YOU WILL HAVE, AND THE TIP SPEED RATIO, YOU WILL KNOW HOW MANY RPMs YOU WILL HAVE IN THE DESIRED START UP WIND. IF THE WIND TURBINE STALLS, JUST SPREAD HE ROTORS A BIT FARTHER APART.

  • @matthew18452 THERE ARE 3 WAYS THAT STAND OUT. 1) USE ANOTHERS PROVEN WORK AS A TEMPLATE. 2) DO A MESS OF FORMULAS OR A PROGRAM THAT ASKS A LOT OF MEASUREMENTS AND FACTORS THAT TAKE A MONTH TO LEARN IN CLASSES. OR 3) DRAW THE PARAMETERS FOR THE COIL TO FIT INTO, SUCH AS THICKNESS AND WIDTH AND SHAPE. FIT AS MANY WINDINGS AS YOU CAN FIT NTO IT. THEN TEST IT IN BETWEEN THE ROTORS AS THEY SPIN A CERTAIN RPM. THIS TEST COIL WILL TELL YOU HOW MUCH VOLTAGE ONE COIL WILL MAKE. CONTINUED TO NEXT PART...
