I think you should go for the 10 second thing before the video. I wouldn't really mind because I know your videos are worth waiting for. Plus it gives you more, Nobody ever clicks on them when they are at the bottom of the video.

Apologies for bursting your bubble - but the partnership emails are a completely automated system. You get one either by having 1 or more video with high view count, or x amount of total video views, or something. Not too sure. Once you apply, that is the first step an actual human gets involved in the process, who checks your video. Your MGS skate theme video would probably fail the check for copyright and would be pulled. Keep to the vlog/fox news commentary stuff and you'll be fine though :)

@willsoe Alright thanks. I agree with the skate theme video. It will now magically disappear. I had heard somewhere that it was just automated, but it is still a good opportunity.

@N0tCr4zy Yes because whenever I go to upload a video it has a message that says that I can make money off of videos. I have to set up some type of account with Google, but it definitely kept me on the real Youtube site.
