A breakdown of my T-rex model, from wireframe to final. The model is created in Cinema4D, and detail was sculpted in ZBrush, as well as the color map.

  • how'd u get the ZBrush details in C4D? Displacement maps?

    'cause that's still an issue which doesn't seem to work here... I wish I knew what I'm doing wrong :P

  • I just used displacement maps, and just cranked up the hight of the displacement. Putting it on round geometry helps keeping everything nice and smooth. I tried to keep the subdivision level as low as pissible, because it increases the render time heavily.
