fire is the first thing kids should learn about also how to control it & safety around matches/fire

should also lear the show lace & wood technique (only shoe lace required) or friction base fire

That is very true because most people think now that we don't need to know how to start a fire because we have gas fire places that start automatically and we can buy all the food we need in the grocerie store but it is still necessary.

If you have a Swiss Army Knife, it probably has a file. You can strike your matches on that. (Unfortunately, it will smell like sulfur until you wash it off)
