I wan to know more basic stuff, like;
what battery does it use? battery life?
what memory card does it use?
what lens can I use with it? Can I reuse lenses I have already?
What about the Flash? Can I add one? Power supply?

No, if you want to make Video's you have to buy the Canon EOS 500.
