@OffRoadVama phenom x4 9650 is in the phenom 1 series and phenom 2 x4 965 is in the second series so yes the 967 is "much" better than 9650

Hello I have a AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 2.1 Ghz | 2gb of ram (DDR2) | EVGA GeForce 9500 gt 1gb (DDR2) All Running on Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit.
I tried Playing GTA IV on low gfx with this specs but it was laggy as hell. I was getting about 17.5 fps >:( So my question is... If I upgrade to a AMD Phenom X4 will I get the Desired 60-80 fps?

much core on processor will be increase the performance
and buy a new graphic card because Nv 9500GT not so good for gaming

@Schorge2 use medium texture
shadows, reflection etc is set to high
use 1280x1024 if it lagging decrease the resolution
