CRAIGSLIST SCAM - REAL ESTATE SCAM GUY IN NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA PART1

The last week in Feb, I called a ad for a house for rent in the northeast, set up an appointment for the following day to see the house. The next day I arrived at the property the I knocked on the screen door, the front door was wide open and I could see a man coming to greet me. He opened the screen door, invited me in an shook my hand. There was another couple walking around as if they were interested in the house also. The man told me to look around and when I was done, if still interested in renting the house that he wold be in the kitchen and there is a application to fill out. After looking at the house, I returned to the kitchen and spoke with the man while filling out a application.

Later that evening I recieved a phone call from a guy claiming to be the realtor and said after speaking to his employee (the man from the house), that they were going to go with me and if I still was interested in the house it was mine. Immediatly saying yes, because I loved the house an the area and price was perfect, we arranged to meet to sign the lease and complete the argeement.

Because of the two snow storms we had, I was stuck at work doing a double 2 days in a row, I told the man who said his name was Robert Johnson by the way. He said he could have his people type up the lease and bring it to me at work.

About an hour later the man I originally saw at the house arrived at my job, which is the video you see. At this time he presented me with a lease, keys to the house, and a recipt for $2400 I was giving him for first, last and security.

Me and my three daughters moved into the house, and bout 2 weeks after. A court marshall showed up at my door to evict the previous tenant, and said they had no idea about me and my children moving in, who gave me my lease or took my money. The police and fox 29 news have been contacted and fox is waiting for a statement from the detectives handling the case before they can air this. But after going to court, tryin to buy me and my daughters some time to save up money to move again, I was told I have no rights here and will be kicked out on the street at any day.

This isnt going to help my main concern as to where me an my daughters will go but hopefully after seeing this you might beable to identify the man or prevent this from happening again to anyone else..
