@Biankito i don't think so, Most anime I've watched are aimed towards adults, and even the ones aimed at young audience contain a lot of Adult themes.

@Biankito There are tons of adult anime, just not appropriate ones Jesu Otaku on youtube reviews a lot of adult anime.

that's a broad generalization, you should look into it more, you'll see there's plenty of adult themed animations.
GoTS is just the most famous.
. gargoyles and Batman: TAS (ive seen it all and i can barely remember some blood) both had balls, defined mychildhood, but even anime aimed at teens match the level of seriousness and adult themes

If I might add, if your interesting in this Japanese take on Batman read Batman Child of Dreams by Kia Asamiya, great manga but mostly for its art the story is forgettable.

They are two separate mediums. The way you tell a story, the pace it moves at, the implied action and use of imagination are all very different. They are visual mediums, yes, and thus the translation between them is easier, but they are still different.
Animation gives a greater visual punch of course, but comics can give your a slower pace and opens you to more personal interpretation. Whether you prefer one of the other is not a simple matter of retardation.

the animation of japan is simple the best of all world¡¡ have you seen Neon Genesis Evangelion or Cowboy Bebop? they are great anime series. and in my opinion they are a really master piece's they are the animation made art.
