  • it's the worst phone i have ever had. i cant play games or use the gps cus it always freezes. the helio service is more expensive than other phone service. it is not reliable. i cant wait till my contract is expired so i can switch to a different cellphone and service. guys dont buy any cellphones or service from helio.

  • mines arriving at my house tomorrow =D

  • some are for sell on ebay, but for what its worth you could just buy a new helio device and call it just as good.

  • sence its discontinued how much would it cost now

  • hell. yes.

    i have one :D

  • Question: I have a Drift and it works amazingly cool, but i'm kind of curious of OCEAN. Is it worth buying? is it better than the Drift?

  • unlocked is for gsm phones. If you don't have TMobile or Cingular it doesn't apply to you.

If you did, you can just swap your little SIM card (which contains your phone line and some other stuff) into another GSM Unlocked phone and it'd work, it's pretty nice, especially since that's the norm in Europe so you can get a lot of the high tech stuff from abroad. Of course, be prepared to pay for any unlocked phone, no contract, so no special deals

  • No. Not really: my understanding is that Helio uses CDMA whereas Cingular \ ATT uses GSM. Because these are two different signaling schemes, phones can not be swapped in the manner suggested.
