BonusJet_moriarty_nm.wmv

The new two seat, retractable engine TST-14J BonusJet at Moriarty, NM. Field elevation is 6200', density altitude is 9300'. Takeoff distance is about 600', climb rate is 700 ft/min. Can't wait to fly it on a standard day at sea level. Start is completely automatic. Took my first passengers after the video was shot. Still excellent performance. I'll race any current motorglider (except a U-2) to 1000'.

@john1966elliott have you ever seen a U2 takeoff? The only aircraft in the world that can get up faster than a U-2 have either rotors or they are a Zenair or Cub(insert similar aircraft for the rest). U2's climb like they are scared of the ground.

wow Bob Ya know ever since my dad used to take me up as ballast in the front seat of the sailplane since i was 9 er so I have been flying, if ur ever back in the 4-corners area and doing an Airshow, I'd love to be ur ballast in the front seat with video cam in hand:)...That is a beautiful Sailplane
