@juices1234 Real ones have the option of either fire mode. Generally top fire is preferable on a tank, but an example of where you would select direct fire is if the tank were parked under an overpass. If you selected top fire the missile would lose track of the tank when the overpass blocked its view, but with direct fire it would keep the heat signature in view.
It should also be noted that a real Javelin is incapable of recognizing a visible laser designation.
