@melhack123 well that was rude. I find it a little ironic that somebody that makes videos on bullying would put others down like that. Telling somebody to get a new hobby about something they enjoy is just mean. I might not have the best technique or be the best dancer, but toe tap is fairly challenging and I am extremely proud of my dance. So if you wanna be a jerk, that's fine with me. But please keep your opinion to yourself if you don't know what you're talking about.

@bmsdancer310 Well, if you have a knowledge of toe tap, then please explain. Any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism would be greatly appreciated so I can become a better dancer.
If not, then keep your opinions to yourself please..

OK first she has a couple years on pointe training first of all, I know her from dance net, second this is how it is supposed to be done with bent knees so it will take up the impact from tapping on your toes, and third this is not just some new popular thing on youtube, this dates way back to the days of amature shows and musicals from 1920's on to today, it is a real genuine form of dance, its just like the old contra dance from old kingdom days just because its not common means it just rare.

@ manga12
if she's "not very experianced" then she shouldn't be on pointe in the first place, at least not on stage. Pointe is really dangerous, especially without a bar to hold on to, and it shouldn't be done if you don't have enough technique. Add taps and it could get /really/ messy.

you are going to break your ankles if you sickle like that ( 0:25 ). also your legs should NEVER be bent when you are on poine unless its in the choreography. ( 0:16 ). Honestly you really should not be en pointe yet or you might seriously injur yourself :/ work on your balance, flexibility and strangth some more.

Hay asswipe, show some respect its hard enough to stand en pointe, but try jumping around and trying to tap dance while doing it when not very experianced.

your demi point is really pretty but when ur on ur box you need to straighten your knees more. also you need to work on you arch a little, you might wanna break in your shoes a little more. when your up in pointe hold your frame together so you dont wigggle and wabble it really does help. and ur arms need to have more fun. just open up and let ur heart tell you how to dance not the counts :)

omg where do you get the shoes ?? x

you might want to work on your balance a bit, and a lot of the dance could have been done en pointe, also something more interesting with your arms might be nice, but other then that you were great, you have great form, just loosen up a bit. Good luck

@dragonbugbeat Thanks. Yeah, for some reason when the dance started I was super dizzy. I really thought I was gonna fall on my butt. lol. But this was my first toe tap, and the first one my teacher's choreographed in a couple decades, so we were both pretty new at it. I'm hoping this year the dance turns out a little better.
But thanks for the advice.

@manga12 Maybe soon? I did another toe tap in my recital this year, so I'm just waiting to get the DVD back. And then find some time to put it on here. :)
